Isiah part deux

Knicks fans are like that girl from Scream. She thinks the killer is dead and everything's fine and she can go off to college. But the in Scream 2, guess what? The Murderer is back, and he's killing off all of her friends.

In 2008 The Knicks went off to College. They brought in Olympic Gold medal coach Mike D'Antoni, and an old warrior of a GM in Donnie Walsh. As we all know Donnie had a plan. A plan to get under the cap, get a superstar, and begin rebuilding.

On July 5th 2010 the Knicks agreed to terms with 5 time All Star power forward, Amare Stoudemire. It was bitter-sweet however, because the Knicks lost out on LeBron James.

At the Press Confrence at Madison Square Garden, Donnie Walsh thanked Isiah Thomas for helping the Knicks to get Amare. But months later, in an interview in mid August, Amare said and I quote

"I have never spoken with Isiah Thomas."

Now somebody here is a moron, and I dont think it's ol' Donnie Walsh. But the question is, why the hell would Donnie Walsh, give where credit is not due? This had to be the most bizzare part of this disfunctional tale.

This week, Isiah Thomas put on a show for all the Knicks fans and Mr.Dolan when he did an Interview with ESPN.com's Ian O'Conner and a radio interview on ESPN 1050's Micheal Kay Show among others. As I sat and listened to this interview I thought to myself. I thought about how this is the guy that traded away our future for Eddy Curry, and made stupid signing of Jerome James and Tim Thomas and Steve Francis, and got into fights on planes with players, showed no respect to the New York media or fan base, and cost the Knicks 6 SEASONS OF LOOSING BASKETBALL (YES IM INCLUDING 08 TO 2010)!

And Now he wants to come back?? and I quote from Mr.Thomas, his interview with Ian O'Conner:

"I want to be on the float and I want to get my ring."

You had 4 seasons to get a ring, and you barely made the playoffs once! You screwed up! You took control of a plane that was about to crash, said "I will handle this everyone!" and just when you were about to crash the plane into the ocean, Donnie Walsh takes control and saves the franchise from utter distruction! Now, you want to get back in the big boy chair, and run things?

NO! GO AWAY! WE CAN PUT OURSELVES AT 50 MILLION OVER THE CAP WITH NO CHANCE OF MAKING THE PLAYOFFS! GO AWAY GO BACK TO DETROIT! YOU SHOULD BE LUCKY YOU'RE NOT FLIPPING BURGERS AT MICKEY D'S AND YOU STILL HAVE A JOB AT SOME COMMUNITY COLLEGE!
