YANKS BABY!!

The Astros will win it in the NL though. Pitching always beats hitting and no better pitching then the Astros.

We got better pitching the Astros. We got Pedro Glavine Benson Seo Tracsel and Zambrano.

Lets Compare:

ASTROS:

Roger Clemens- 11-6 1.56 ERA
Roy Oswalt- 15-8 2.68 ERA
Andy Pettite-11-9 2.67

METS:

Pedro Martinez 13-5 2.77 ERA
Tom Glavine 10-10 4.10
Kris Benson 9-5 3.89 ERA
Victor Zambrano 7-10 4.07 ERA

You can not go by the records but even if you did the Astros starting pitchers have a better record. The Astros ERA is exceptional compared to the Mets. The Astros also have definetly a better bullpen then the Mets.

Jae Seo, in my opinion is a fluke and will not show up in the playoffs, Steve Trachsel is coming off back surgery and you don't know what he is going to give you.

Although, the Mets may have a better lineup, pitching beats hitting, and the Astros need to score 2-3 Runs a game to win.

Astros > Mets

But the Astros dont get enough run support. You only got 3 good pitchers who do you got after Petite Clemens and Oswalt? Astacio? Good run support and good pitching from the Mets will win games.

The Mets don't have good pitching though. Pedro is the only consistent one. They have absolutely no bullpen and the Astros need to scrape 2 runs to win a game and they can do that.

And come playoff time, you don't need a 5 man rotation.

Zambrano's only problem is he waslks too many batters. Benson was consistent the whole year except the 1st game he got back and his last game he pitched aganist the Nats. Glavine has improved thru out the whole year and is now back to his former form when he was an Atlanta Brave. And Seo has pitched lights out since being called back up. And Tracsel well see about him.....

I hope that the yanks can come through even wit there pitching problems.......chacon has been doing great(cept yestaday) smalls been doin good....and wright has done well in his return from injury

pavano we wont get bak for a while.....same wit wang

at least our hitting is getting it done.....but we arnt hitting well......we have a low scoring with risp...

wut we have come acustom to is.....a walk....a hit...homerun....then no hits for a while....a solo homerun.....

arod probably out of his 40 hmers has 20 solo jobs...the yanks will fail in the p/offs because there hitting isnt getting it done or pitching......

and the mets wont even make the playoffs

Phils are a game out of behind the Astros playing us today. And the Al East and AL Wild Card will be a tight race.
