Sam Mitchell got fired after 17 games this season as the Raptors head coach. With the addition of Jermaine O'Neal, the now-megastardom of C-Bosh, and the great play of Jose Calderon this team was supposed to be a "dark horse" eastern conference title candidate. The Raps got whooped by denver yesterday (wow chauncy billups has done wonders 4 dat team), they lost by 39 points!

I personally think it was 2 early, O'neal is playin injured (surprise?), and the season is still young. has this team underachieved? yes, but this was a head coach of the year before. i wish sam mitchell good luck, im sure he'll find success as a head coach on another team

....one thing about this , he was a decent coach he's not the right coach for this team, and he had no excuse for having the same record as the knicks(though now we have a worse one i think) with a team that has Bosh, Calderon, and J O'Neal
