Lakers hire Mike Brown
The Los Angeles Lakers reached agreement in principle with former Cleveland Cavaliers coach Mike Brown Wednesday on a four-year contract worth more than $18 million to replace 11-time NBA champion coach Phil Jackson. The fourth year is at the team's option, according to a source, although there are incentives in the deal that could guarantee the final season.

This move really surprised me, I thought they were going to sign Rick Adelman.
Kobe is too old to handle this iso system (if you want to call that a system). My guess is that he won't be their coach come Christmas.

L.A. has always been a strange place though, it's clear that the superstar players rule this place and not the coaches (apart from Jaxx maybe).
The way the kicked Rudy T out was nasty, a coach who won 2 rings with Houston...crazy.
