lmao my point is Novak is too easy to game plan for most of his 3's come off of rotations so forcing shots to him isn't good for us

I agree with CA7 that u cant force the ball to Novak but I dont think he should be limited to any number of shots, if he gets open 8 times u better give him the ball 8 times or at least 6 or 7

Well that wont happen when the 6th seed team will have 38 or 39 wins....the Knicks are goin to make this a 35 win season....some say 36.
The Knicks waited to long to grab a specific seed in the playoff....Dantoni shouldve been fired a long time ago.
Whether we like Boston Celtics or not, u have to admire the Celtics for being the best gellin-chemistry team in the NBA, they might not be deep in depth (Perkins/Baby/Allen) anymore, but the Celtics have more design plays than Spurs coach Pop have.

well we can hope that the magic continue to free fall. A few of those teams ahead of us are imploding while it looks like the knicks are getting better. It could happen.

Without an effective point guard the reality is Novak will be rendered limited to useless vs a great defensive team like the Bulls, Miami, etc. He can't create much seperation himself via running off screens or dribbling. He's a spot up shooter that has to be set up.

yeah, i think you hit it on the head, Lin seemed to find Novak much more than anyone else has since the Linjury.

Now that teams know that Steve Novak is truly a threat we wont get many open looks, if he's open 8 times like you said then thats 8 shots BUT essentially Novak is like I said a specialist and a defensive liability should play limited minutes
