one important stat: knicks outrebound miami and keeps miami at their average fg percentage... thats all we need - mediocre d rebounds and we'll win

I'm ready to give D'Antoni some credit for this. He did shuffle the lineup and open the rotation to include Walker and others. He must have said we need to focus on some D today cause there was no D in Cleveland for 7/8's of the game. Nice win Mike!!!

    You gotta love this place.

Get over it, MDA schooled you all tonight. We just beat Miami in their own backyard and we did it PLAYING D, you know the thing you all cried MDA couldn't do!
Cut it out we need a new Headcoach.... Mike & Dan got to go

Give Anthony Carter his do too.

I never said MDA doesn't deserve credit, idk what mda preaches i'm not at the practices. he could be teaching D the whole time(although obviously he doesnt...).. but that doessnt mean the players are going to listen. Billups is the leader that forces the team to play it imo. feel free to disagree

Phew, clutch stuff from our guys. Definitely a far (far) better defensive and rebounding effort. We still need to look at a couple of centres to help, but the team defense looked pretty good against the big 3 tonight. Lucky for us, the Heat started missing the corner 3, cos we never really fixed that.

But who cares, we got the win. Giving away so many players for Billups was worth it, and Carmelo did alright too.

How you like dem big apples, LeBron?

This was the best defense they've played all year. I've been critical of MDA but tonight his team stepped up & showed a ton of intensity on the D. Gotta give him credit. I thought playing Walker for big minutes down the stretch really spurred the team in the 2nd half, I gotta give MDA HUGE props for doing that & not putting Douglas or Carter back into the game, who were both highly ineffective tonight.

If I had to give up MVP awards for tonight's game, Bill Walker might just get it. Melo & Billups came up huge down the stretch but Walker's play really contained Lebron & he also made some big baskets & free throws to seal the game for us.

That was the best game I've watched all year. Thank you MDA. Thank you Donnie Walsh & James Dolan for making the trade & proving all the doubters wrong.

Great game; monster 4th quarter by Mr. Big Shot!!! Way to fight back at the end of the half and take the lead on the unbelievable three with the bank open. Great game all the way around and even played a little defense. I liked how well the bench held down the fort while the stars rested. Huge win on the road and STAT, Mello, and Chauncy served notice that the Knicks have a Big three as well!!!!
