Somewhere Craig Elho is screaming... Somehwere Bryon Russell is fuming... JORDAN PUSHED OFF! OFFENSIVE FOUL!

To decide a game on that call should be the story... part of the national conversation when they recap this game. IT BETTER BE. If it's just an aside... it will be another injustice.

The refs allowed BOS to get back in the game, down 12 at the half, by allowing contact and not blowing the whistle. THEN, when the Celtics climb back in control... they start calling it the other way?

it's like in baseball... If home plate ump doesn't call high outside strike all game. You can't punch a guy out 2-2 count in the 9th, with 2 outs and bases loaded.

YOU HAVE TO BE CONSISTENT!

Can't blame the refs for the loss, i get that.

Here's the obvious truth: Rivers, a defensive-minded coach designed a play for his team to get an open, high pct shot coming out of a timeout. D'antoni, the offensive genius, had nothing. His play was to hand ball to Camrlo, running toward the sidelines, elbow-extended 25 feet from the basket. We're told MD is innovative with his offensive-minded philosophy... But game on the line and clipboard in his hand... yet again he fails to impress.

Credit Ray Allen for making the shot. Won the game.

Yes, Carmelo had a brutal 4th (missed free throw, turnover, a bunch of missed shots)...

BUT, the refs deserve some blame. The allowed BOS to turn on the heat in the 3rd Q, and let them get away with their physical style. After this contacy was established, the refs suddenly reversed course with about 4 minutes left in the game?

The first terrible call was giving Allen the 3 point play (and-1) when Douglas tapped hm from behind. THEN, on the next possession, as Amar'e drove to the hoop, spun, he was hit a lot worse than Ray.

The contact from Douglas was light, and the refs allowed the physical play... Then make that ticky-tack call? Then dont give Amar'e the call?

THEN, the refs decides and determines outcome of the game by blowing that whistle? Pathetic. The ref should be pulled from the series. He cannot make that call. NO way. Eat the whistle, especially when a known flopper is flopping and the ball is almost 30 feet from the basket. If this were PHI vs MIA, and MIA inbounds the ball to Wade... will the call that off. foul?

You're forgetting Melo had to sit out the whole 1st quarter because he gets 2 fouls called on him in the first 1:30 .. i missed the first foul but the second foul was a BS call away form the ball.. that shit was an obvious ref job there

The bookies had to balance out the day, or else they lose money. Who knows. Seems like the ref was bought off. Same ref involved in the same plays down the stretch.

1) Doesn't call moving pick on Allen.
2) Calls Carmelo for the offensive foul.
3) Doesn't call KG for the trip of Douglas.

THE KG TRIP OF TD was the worst of the bunch. BUT, if he makes that call it's NY ball, 11 seconds left, Knicks up 1. Game over. But it was a foul of KG, he jumped out and tripped TD. Sorry, but he jumped into TD's space. You have to call that foul.

The sport has been crooked for years though. Why should we expect anything different?
