Default Knicks doesn't have players that can constantly make open shots

Look at Glen Davis and Jeff Green, they make every open shot which NBA players should make. But our players on the other hand are streaky shooters and no one has a good shooting form. Those that can't shoot are exposed when defense tightens up and the game puts a stress on you. Shawne Williams, Bill Walker, Toney Douglas and etc are all not good shooters. I'm already giving Melo the benefit of doubt and we've seen him miss open shots. This also goes back to our previous team that included Chandler and Gallo and Felton. They weren't good shooters as well, Gallo was most successful as a streaky shooter but none of them gave you an assurance that players from Celtics give.
Just look at Douglas and his form, when he shoots he seems like he's giving us a high five which is just disappointing. I rather have a James Jones type shooter over a J R Smith type.
We need to work on our shooting because everything else is dependent on it.

Apart from Melo, STAT and to an extent Shawne Williams all our players are volume shooters.

We don't have quality shooters like Eddie House, Ray Allen etc. who knock down shots when they're given one inch!

Apart from the center spot this is our biggest need this offseason, a true shooting guard who can knock down open shots on a regular basis.

The guy on your avatar can't
