Austin Rivers

This dude is a **cking beast! He's headed to Duke this season and he will hands down be a lottery pick in next years draft. Next years draft is going to be stacked with potential all stars.

Doc should be proud. Looks like his kid has a ton of talent. I can't wait to see what he's really all about. Despite being about the same size, he looks like a completely different player than his old man, huh? Looks like a much better athlete and plays with a lot more flair than his pop ever did. Not sure a lot of that razzle-dazzle will fly with Coach K though.. I guess his fundementals are strong or Krzyzewski would've never bothered recruiting him. Impressive clip, though he looks a little awkward on his jumpshot release. That might need some fixin'..Otherwise, he looks like a 5-star talent..

He started off a little slow but he has caught on fast and will be a top ten pick next summer. Can't wait to see him in the leauge in 2012-13.

That's why no team has dominated the field of 64 quiet like Duke has since the 64 team field has been added. He knows how to recruit and recruits the right players.

good scouting report since Rivers will prob be a top 5 pick this year. He is awesome on a great team and loads of pressure, especially being the son of an nba player and coach.

He will be great in the NBA.

BUMP now that Rivers is in the league. He didn't play so good in the summer league, averaging 10 points per game, with a .21 FG%, and shooting .125% from deep. It looks like he suffers from JR Smith-itis, has loads of talent but starts chucking up shots sometimes and isn't efficient. It should be interesting to see how he plays on the Hornets alongside Anthony Davis. Who from team USA looks like he's going to be a star in the league, dude is a beast.

Rivers thinks his best attribute is scoring from any where on the floor, but I think his IQ is his best attribute. He just has to use it, rather going mano a mano with the league. if he can take advantage of defenses, he would be a dynamic player, as a playmaker, but he just shakes away from that to put up shots, gets a few oohs and ahhhs, but bricks the shot.
