Quick question?

Does the lockout effect the release of NBA 2k12 or the rosters?

don't know this for a fact but not sure they would release 2k12 without a season and most rosters are incomplete. Once and if there is going to be a season everything will shape out but 2k12 will still be question mark. 2k11 game was adapting with the season.

Of course they will release it.

Rosters is hard to know but I imagine they will be pushing the Legends game modes as the primary game modes until there is some kind of indication about the season.

Agreed. They will release it even though a couple teams like the Knicks for example only have about 7 players signed. If there is a season they will just upload an update for everyone to download.

Without a season and complete team rosters the game won't have the buzz it usually gets though.
