Knicks trade:
Allan Houston - $17,531,250
Kurt Thomas - $5,884,500

For:
Shareef - $14,625,000
Derek Anderson - $8,443,500
Total: $23,068,500
by this trade, Portland gets a solid PF who won't cry about playing time behind ZR and DM and a starting SG with a squicky clean image and leadership skills that the Blazers desperately need, and we get a PF who can put up some numbers and nice backup SG.
That would be a good trade, eventhough I love Kurt's game I wouldn't even blink in the possibility of trading Anderson.

but stil shariff has 1 year left in his contract and we losing a good playa but we will get rid of houston so tahts a positive
I doubt we'll get him. Like many of you, I feel that if we can rid ourselves of Shandon Anderson and Moochie Norris it would be a huge plus. Hopefully it will happen sometime this season.
im not for getting rid of houston even thought its a big releif contract wise, but i dont think theyll take thomas and anderson for rahim, theyd gain a bad contract in anderson and they dont want another pf thats the whole reason theyre trading rahim y would they want kt
