Part one

By Matt Stieglitz

In less than a month the New York Knicks return to Charleston, South Carolina for training camp. It is the two weeks spent there where the chemistry and solidarity that was lacking in last season’s team will be built. This training camp should prove to be eventful as for the first time in nearly four years the Knicks are actually expected to contend for the NBA championship. There are no lottery hopes or early playoff-exit predictions for this year as the team has enough veteran talent to win now and youth to maintain that winning tradition for years to come.
