I have no interest in Balkman. Never really got too in to his game. Not that he has much of a chance to showcase it outside of preseason.
I like some things he does: gritty, good anticipation, but he's hardly worth giving Kaman up.
Balkman is the exception to my new rule.

Playoffs: I'll get back with specific details soon. Put it this way: I'm already sweating out matchups now and rooting for certain ppl, re: the playoffs. Which is pretty f'd considering I have 3rd overall total points, yet am clinging to death for the 8th seed.
So ya, pretty sure 8 teams make it, I think 4 from each division, but I have to double check on that -- it could just be the top 8 teams, regardless of division.
When you make the playoffs, you get seeded -- based off record, and overall points as tiebreaker.
8 seed plays 1 seed, etc.
Playoff-style tournament.
I was thinking if people want, we could work out some sort of "prize" system for the 2012 KO Champion, or runner up, too, etc.
Btw, re: playoffs
Week 22 is the star of the playoffs. Playoffs go Week 22, Week 23, and Week 24 -- Week 24 lasts a full 11 days, too. A true thunderdome for glory.
Division winners automatically advance, and are the top seeded teams to start the playoffs.
The other 6 playoff seeds are determined by overall seeding, based off of your total points.
In the playoffs, the top seeds vs bottom seeds square off accordingly throughout the playoffs.
We also have a big, gay RIVALRY WEEK coming up, in but a few short weeks; it features a rematch of the embittered and embolded Coquis facing off against the hobbled yet eve-resilient Scores of Gasms.
Not to mention, a featuring of the (potential?) rivalry brewing between the increasingly crusted CrustCrew, and the Knickerbockaphle, playoff-bound Spicy Pork Pirates!
Also, and it's good I didn't do this as a team like DatPrince woulda stank it up real fierce.....
But if we do a KO fantasy league next season, I could make it a "keeper" league. At the end of the season, each team is allowed to keep 3 (or some #) of players, which the following season they automatically have, going into the draft.
It's a lotta fun if you think you'll be doing a league with roughly the same people for a few years+, and it definitely impacts who you keep...and who you drop, throughout the season.
EG, would CoolClyde truly have dropped Eric The Pied Gimp Gordon?
How much more of a premium do you place on a player, perhaps Rubio, who you feel will break out in a year......etcetc
Ok, thought this through and i'm afraid i'm gonna reject the trade. Kobe sounds really really good but compared to Smith he's getting fewer fantasy points. George seems to be pretty much like Cousins but i'd be getting two guards for two forwards, and i'm a huge fan of big guys. Tough to get in this league.

J-Smith is pretty beastly; Duncan is legit, especially in a time when bigs reign, and Cousins is a legit fantasy stud in his own right at PF/C.
