The dude needs motion.
And without a quality (real) point guard, he isn't always going to get that on a consistent basis.
Just look at that last play where STAT got fouled and went to line (he didn't even perform that great of a move, either); he was able to get legit motion off a crevice of space.
Those crevices of motion and space won't always be there, especially with a good, smart defensive team (which GSW is not), barring a legit PG,
aka a creator.
