washington is losing bigtime, while the hawks are coming powerfully

the knicks have won the game against the raptors, wich still gives us some hopes

This home and home against the Nets will basically determine it all. Lose both, and the Knicks are essentially out. Split the two games, and it will be up to Milwaukee to likewise choke to keep the Knicks in it. Washington is self-destructing and I'm not as worried about them. Of course, if the Knicks win both games against the Nets, they'll make it easy on themselves and keep fate in their own hands.

Well, the losses against the Nets hurt badly. They didn't really lose any ground on the eighth seed because Milwaukee and Washington swapped positions, but they haven't gained any ground either and now there's just 9 games left.
