When you see the shoddy play of his other pg's i would have went up and down the roster at PG, but not D'Antoni...he sticks with the crappy play of douglas and shumpert at PG, even played bibby more...he's like this doesn't work let me go back to another option that hasn't worked, oh, wait that's not working, let me try something else that already hasn't worked...oh lin? no he's going to the D league, oh yeah. Lin basically said that Coach D says there is no wrong play...well yes there is. Making him rely on all the coaching he's had up to now, because you know D'Antoni is not teaching him sh!t. He needs to Coach him, make him a better player. Don't just give him the green light, we saw what that did to shumpert early on, now he's struggling.

no, i just feel that professional athletes know more than us. If Lin says that the coach's system is prefect for him, and that he loves playing for Mike danotni, then im not gonna hate the coach. its just that simple. keep hating bro...when the players play bad, yes im upset, but if the redeem themselves, i have no reason to be upset. Dantoni has a pg that runs the offence, the defense is improving, and im seeing plays...so i have no reason to hate on mda

Lets not turn this into another D'antoni debate. Finally starting to see some positives. Hope we build on this. What i wanna see next is more assists and more cohesion. No doubt stat is going to fit perfectly with Lin, he's just what he needed. How do u think they are going to integrate melo though, how will his playstyle fit?

Lin`s ability to get in the paint should help everyone.... stat with pick and roll .... even Novak could play more with Lin ...just stand at the 3 point line and let Lin get in the paint and kick out for open shots....then let Melo take over when thing break down ..... now Melo doesnt have to hold the ball so much because we didnt have a point... can only be postives

Yes shooting threes is fine. The three ball has it's place, but by and large MDA wants his point guard to drive the ball into the teeth of the D, run pick and roll, draw the D and finish at the rim, or if it's not there kick or find someone cutting to the rim.

That is the essence of what he'd like to see his PG do in this system. Jeremy Lin is doing exactly that.
