Seems like Harrelson is out of the rotation now too. Would like to see him play a bit more.
Nice to see TD on the floor for a few minutes last night at least....
Would've been nice to see TD instead of Bibby against the Bucks last night. Anyone know the reasoning over the choice of Bibby over TD? Are they trying to cement the fact to TD that he'll never get a chance to start as a PG ever again? Because I'm pretty sure that's already been done.
I think TD will start to see minutes next game if LIN is still out...
Davis cannot play as many minutes as he did....Jennings blew by him in the 4th,,,,
Bibby can only play limited minutes....
all of a sudden a healthy TD is an asset....perfect time for him to redeem himself....
at this point I would not play Jordan at all........Keep him healthy in case Chandler or Josh get hurt ......
yeah Woody needs to make mends with Douglas cause Bibby plays like an old man...neither can play defense well, so thats a wash...TD is a better shooter these days
Agree with others that I'm confused as to why Bibby is getting all the playing time and not Douglas. Bibby doesn't even handle much of the ball handling when he's on the court. Douglas should be the better shooter and defender.
Maybe his injured shoulder is worse than we know. Who knows? He might be stinking it up even worse than Bibby in practice.
Well Bibby is Woody's boy from Hawk's days, wise he would had been gone instead of Balkman. I'm sorry, but Douglas is better.
On a side note, how did Douglas look the last few times he got minutes? If he wants playing time, he needs to show what he has when he gets the minutes
he doesn't look good in the minutes he gets. Probably the same in practice. he's gonna have to earn those minutes back.
I don't know if TD can fully recover from this. He will always be 6 feet tall and unable to run a decent point. He's too small to keep in as a SG. He either locks himself away in the offseason and learn how to be a PG or enjoy the last bit of money the Knicks just gave him.
Thing is... Douglas has had great games for us in the past. A bad season won't just erase all the positives of the past.
The way Bibby plays, he doesn't set up the offense at all really and basically never drives in and breaks down the defense. He usually just gives up the ball really early and camps on the perimeter.
Basically what I'm saying is, Douglas can do everything Bibby can do but better. Better defense, Bibby is shooting like shiit so Douglas can definitely shoot better like he has in the past and Douglas can actually drive in once in a while.
I really hope its just because Douglas is injured and not some weird favoritism.
I too do not quite understand why Bibbyis seeing appreciable minutes and Douglas only garbage time. Douglas is on our books for over $2M next year. I would love to trade him even for an early second round pick. He needs to play and hopefully pick up some value during the remaining games.
Hell, i don't see how BIBBY is still in the NBA, that dude is finished.
