Mark jackson wishes he could slash like Lin or run a fast break.

When was the last time Mark Jackson could put up 38 on the lakers or even 20?!

Dont get me wrong though, MJ was an excellent passer even though his footspeed rivals that of a turtle.

When was the last time Mark Jackson turned the ball over every time he passed?

Dante is nowhere near being a real NBA coach... but give him props for benching our "stars", now he knows who gives a fukk about this team and who wants to play 100% and fight even if we're losing badly. I'd love to see Lamelo and Amarknee starting on the bench against Chicago.

Good thing he benched Stoudemire and Melo in crunchtime.

This team looks done.

Time to fire D'Antoni and make some trades in the offseason.

At best we're in for another first round sweep this year.

At worst we'll finish 9th and won't even make the playoffs at all.

Frustrating. At least Mike kept Melo and Stat on the bench at the end of the game.
Quite interesting that Clyde criticised MDA on-air. Maybe Dolan gave them the green light. But who could replace Dantoni?

TIME to go to the line-up that got us the 7 game winning streak...let Melo and Stat come off the bench,,,,,,,,,,WTF do we have to lose........

Please don't even mention Lin and Mark Jackson in the same sentence.

I know he is a hometown favorite and all that but he only was a solid PG. I know that Lin has a long way to go before eclipsing Mark's achievements with the Knicks but Lin has already shown he is a much better scorer than Mark could ever dream of being.

Lin has a much higher ceiling than any PG we've had since Walt. Thats the only point im trying to make.

We're a city that churns out top class PG's by the boatload at the junior levels but they never seem to come around and play for us.

Glad D'antoni had the balls to bench Carmelo and Stat.

If they won't play up to their salary, pay attention, and D it up with intensity and energy then those that want to try harder need to be on the floor.

Seeing way too much forced passing by Lin and the team in general seemed completely not there mentally.

Guys need to want the ball - want to shoot, as much as want to play D.

What Lin is really lacking is experience, and this is something you just need time. I think there is still time for this season by hanging on to the last spot.

Time to focus on prepping Davis for starting PG. Linsanity was always going to end at some point. The fact it ever existed was pure commercialism anyway. Lin should start on the bench. He can develop into something really good, but, for now, proper efforts need to be made to get Davis into his Cleveland form. He should start.

OK...stop posting, they judge PG's, by something called turnover to assist ratio, i like LIN, but he's a turnover machine.

I see more chemistry with guys playing pickup at the gym.

It's too many different player combinations for the guys playing to keep their head straight on what they should do.

Between the many-mixer of lineup and not applying a stronger defense in the 2nd half....I have to agree with u on the many combination of players are not letting players GELL as a backcourt or frontcourt unit...

Mark Jackson averaged 3 To's a game. He turned it over quite a few times but obviously thats because he is the primary ball handler. Just like Lin is.

Lin definately needs to improve on this aspect of his game but there is no reason why he can't develop into a better player over the next few years. This is clearly his "rookie" year and he is learning how to play in a disjointed/dysfunctional offense right now. Its a steep learning curve if you ask me.

Melo and Amar'e looked pissed that they were sitting on the bench at the end of the game.. and I absolutely LOVED IT :peace:

PS - When is D'Antoni becoming C'Antoni? I give it 2 or 3 games.

Don't think Rose won the MVP based on his TO to assist ratio but I do get your point.

When we were winning it doesn't matter how many TO's Lin makes. He was being aggressive and forcing the offense which was a good thing.

Now he is making mistakes because he is hesitating and trying to make a decision as to whether to defer to Melo/Stat or take it himself.

As with all Rookie PG's this is going to be a learning process. It will improve with experience and time on the court.

Like I said before, its not helping him that MDA's offense is an absolute joke to run. Nor is it helping that we barely get any easy buckets on fast breaks because we are always picking up the ball from out of the basket.
