Was Jordan Hill one of the worst draft picks in Knicks history?
Looking back at the 2010 NBA draft and seeing how throughout Jordan Hill's young NBA career he's been nothing but a below average bench player that has averaged less than 15 minutes a game, do you put him in the same category as Michael Wright, Mike Sweetney,Channing Frye and Mardy Collins?

OMG i remember that draft like it was yesterday, one more pick away from Stephen Curry, passing on Jennings, Lawson, Collison and many others for a raw big man who was soft. Everyone was saying his best case was an Amar'e type player but he never showed glimpses of it.
Channing Frye had 19 points and 8 rebounds last night.
Hill is not even THAT bad, he's in shape and has potential, but given the circumstances (we passed on Jennings and Ty Lawson) he's one of our worst picks, yes.
I'd say the worst two players we drafted over the past 15 years are Frederic Weis and Mike Sweetney. Weis never even made it into the league, all he is known for is kissing Vinsanity's nuts. Sweetney only survived 2 seasons in the league and was a fat and lazy mother****er from the get go. He was also severly undersized at 6'7 to play PF and C and his 'skillset' was non-existing.
In no particular order : John Wallace,Walter McCarty,Michael Sweetney,Renaldo Balkman...

If we didnt have Dantoni's bobblehead coaching-staff Jordan Hill services wouldve
been better than Turiaf.....David Lee needed a bigman bruiser like Jordan Hill to
box-out, screen, defend the paint, putbacks, and rebound.
Jennings out played every guard at both positions in 3 draft camps....
Ty Lawson talent in the NCAA sweet 16 were unmatchable for any guard....
Plus the Timberwolves had Lawson on the selling block the night of the draft.
Walsh & Dantoni were working with a backcourt of Duhon, Hughes, a FA-Nate,
and a Wilson Chandler who wanted to play at his natural position SF.
Knicks were usually complete draft noobs since I follow the NBA on a regular basis...
2002 - we drafted Nenê and traded him right away + we didn't draft Amare/Boozer who were available with our pick.
2003 - drafted useless Sweetney + didn't draft West/Diaw.
2004 - traded our 1st round pick + didn't draft Smith/Nelson.
2005 - drafted Frye + didn't draft Bynum/Granger but | drafted Lee (and that was a good pick).
2006 - traded our 1st round pick + didn't draft Aldridge/Gay | drafted Balkman + didn't draft Rondo.
2007 - traded our 1st round pick + didn't draft Noah/Stuckey | drafted Chandler (good pick) but could also draft younger Gasol.
2008 - drafted Gallinari (great pick!).
2009 - drafted Hill + didn't draft DeRozan/Jennings/Lawson.
2010 - traded our 1st pick | drafted Fields (steal!).
2011 - drafted Shumpert (steal!) | traded for Harrellson (steal!)
Thing is even if we drafted Ty Lawson or Brandon Jennings, we probably would've had to trade that player to Houston in the T-Mac trade, so no harm no foul really.
Dude couldn't settle a solid hoops career in Europe and I wonder how is that possible that we drafted him. Folks in Poland can't believe that after all those failed one season episodes of Polish players in the NBA Gortat established himself pretty well and is one the best centers in the West.
