Default List of Free Agents for the Summer of 2012

I posted this since as of 6/22/2012 the Knicks have enough cap room that this list actually matters

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Players marked with an asterisk are not on rookie scale contracts (for former first-round picks) but are eligible for restricted free agency as a player with three years or less of NBA experience. Players finishing their rookie scale contracts are marked as restricted until decided otherwise and their Qualifying Offer is listed. Teams needed to officially issue that Offer by June 30, 2012, to make the player restricted.

I bolded the players I found interesting. Obviously the Knicks should try to keep their players and I know the clear choice of an offseason acquisition would be Nash. However he's teased coming here before and the rumor is the Knicks aren't even front runners [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

So in my mind if that happens the Knicks should go with the Ray/Ray plan Raymond Felton (future Backup PG) and Ray Allen (outside 3 pt shooter to ease the load on Novak)

also I think Shannon Brown could be the steal price wise in comparison to production this year and Robin Lopez could be a really cheap decent backup center.
