Minnesota are a center away from being a Western beast.
Added Batum and Brandon Roy to Rubio and Love.
Holy hymen.

Lakers are closing in on another blockbuster deal to send Bynum to Orlando for Dwight Howard, who just spoke to steve nash and kobe about joining lakers and signing the extension once traded
[Adrian Wojnarowski @WojYahooNBAColumn:] After Steve Nash joins Kobe Bryant's championship chase, will Dwight Howard want to be next? [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

That would be madness. Just madness. The Heat have upped the anti for any team with the pieces, space and riches to build powerhouses. Wow.
Minny/OKC V LA in the WCF if this goes through.
What the hell. The Lakers would still get to keep Gasol after getting Howard?
Nash
Kobe
World Peace
Gasol
Howard
Jesus Christ! That's a pretty damn good starting five.
hope stern doesnt allow this loll... thats just not fair with that startin 5
Yes. Yes. Yes.
And it makes me want to throw up.
We got manhandled by MIA for starters to kick off this arms race, and our followup blockbuster had us dealing for the wrong dude, giving up the wrong players, and bailing out on the wrong personsel and vision.
Idgaf anymore. Melo deal was horrible, and keeping him over Walsh, MDA, and the player(s) we could have redealt him for was even worse.
Anyone who disagrees is either a homer, or banking on sheer optimism, and putting blinders on the realities of what it takes, and will take, to win a championship.
Kidd makes a last minute coin toss to come here and finish his career, after DAL is basically systematically gutting their team, and it's a sign of NYK glory. Jesus Christ. How the mighty have fallen.
Fact: the Bosnian the Nets casually inked is 5x the signing of this. Could list close to a dozen other signings around the league, that just fly under the big city radar.
Batum signing, eg.
I called our Isiah teams Frankensteins. Welcome to Frankenstein 2.0. Better specs, more superficial polish, still a total hodgepodge hot mess, designed with the vision of the man himself: James Dolan.
Just as far away from winning a title as any of the Isiah-Dolan teams.
Nick Young has agreed to sign with the 76ers on a one-year contract worth approximately $6 million.
Philadelphia is unlikely to re-sign Lou Williams.
Young finished the 11-12 season with the Clippers.

PHILLY will use amnesty clause to cut Elton Brand.
Knicks should offer him the MLE. Perfect compliment to Amar'e & Chandler. He would be the first big off the bench. Provide defense & rebounding. A nice rotational player on a championship team. And, if Amare or Tyson gets hurt we have insurance.
USE MLE on Mayo, Foye, Camby or Brand please.
SIgn JR Smith & D-Stevenson.
Match LIN's contract; Bring JJ back. IF we use MLE on SG, then sign Battie. If we use it on a big then re-sign Novak or bring back S-Williams.
Was just about to post this
however D-Stevenson i believe was part of the trade package for Joe Johnson
Alan Hahn @alanhahn
Few expect Elton Brand to clear amnesty waivers, so it's likely a pipe dream for Knicks. But worth watching....
I myself would love Elton Brand on this team
Batum is restricted so it's not a given Portland won't match. He's a very good young player that you have to think about keeping no matter how unhappy he says he is in Portland.
Brand would be a great pickup for cheap. Pick him up for the min off of waivers and give the Peekskill NY native a welcome home gift.
It is a 100% impossible for Elton Brand to clear waivers. Forget about it.
Is Lou Williams a possibility? I htink he might be too expensive :/
I dont get the sixers. Is Nick young that much of an upgrade that they are willing to let Brand go? Or is it a financial thing?
Blazers Complete Buyout Of Shawne Williams
Shawne Williams and the Blazers have finalized a buyout agreement.
Williams was owed $3.1 million and will become an unrestricted free agent if he clears waivers.
Come on home Shawne for the Vet minimum and get those backup minutes behind Melo.
