Post Prediction time: standings and playoffs

Assuming a 3 team deal gets done with Dwight going to Lakers, Bynum to Cavs and Varejao to Magic....

    East:

    Heat
    Celtics
    Knicks
    Pacers
    Nets
    Bulls
    76ers
    Hawks

    Wild Card: Wizards

    Heat vs Hawks=Heat
    Celtics vs 76ers=Celtics
    Knicks vs Bulls=Knicks
    Nets vs Pacers=Nets

    Heat vs Nets=Heat
Celtics vs Knicks=...................Knicks! (We can beat them in 7 game series this year)

    Heat vs Knicks= Heat

    West:

    Thunder
Lakers (chemistry doesn't form in one day)
    Spurs
    Clippers
    Grizzlies
    Mavericks
    Nuggets
Timberwolves (with Rubio healthy they could have made playoffs last season)

    Wild Card: Warriors or Jazz

    Thunder vs TWolves=Thunder
    Lakers vs Nuggets=Lakers
    Spurs vs Mavs= Spurs
    Clippers vs Grizzlies=Clips

    Thunder vs Clips =Thunder
    Lakers vs Spurs= Lakers

    Lakers vs Thunder = Lakers

Heat vs Lakers= Heat (Just too many weapons from outside)....Lakers win it the following season when they have a full year of chemistry and a better bench.....Knicks win after lol

However Laker have Nash, Kobe and a big man in Dwight who Heat can't really stop so it can go either way....the way Lebron took over scares me and Miami has too many shooters and a deeper bench.

Let's be real. The Knicks have the same odds as the Rocket at winning an Nba championship in the next couple of years.

    lol hell no bad comparison

knicks just need to gel consistently and if they do they can beat anybody...gelling starts with the PG spot and we finally have depth there

Why? The truth hurts? Ok, the Knicks will finish 5th to 8th seed and out in round one again.

Knicks finish probably 6th in East and lose in First Round. Book it.

    Heat
    Pacers
    Knicks (Biased)
    Celtics
    Bulls (Still good without Rose)
    Nets (Overrated)
    Sixers
Orlando (Howard isn't going anywhere right?)

Atlanta falters without Joe Johnson. Cleveland makes a push for the playoffs and the Atlantic division beats itself up with 4 legit teams (Toronto isn't bad either).

I think its important to at least get the 3rd seed so you can avoid Miami as long as possible... those fellas are going to be leagues ahead of everyone else.

    Thunder
    Spurs
    Lakers
    Grizzlies
    Clippers
    Mavs
    Nuggets
    Timberwolves

I know you are a big Knick fan like most of us on this forum, but can you elaborate a little bit why are you so optimistic about our chances? Maybe you know something we dont.
Based on your previous posts i respect your opinion and look forward to your answer

Don't you think it's all getting a little over the top now, OBM?

You seem to have so many funny and insightful things to say, but I have to wonder what motivates this kind of sh i t.

    _______________

I'm astounded that so many people have Boston as the 2 seed. I see this as their year of declination. They still have the talent to pull off 2nd, but their success is circumstantial.
