Borderline
I thought he was horrible during the season with the celtics but he stepped up big in the playoffs. He did a better job of guarding Gasol then KG and Perkins did. He also did a better job on Bynum then Perkins which is why the Celtics were better off having Perkins out for game 7. Perkins is better at guarding a center more like Dwight Howard. I like this move more for the playoffs but Kurt Thomas is the better PF during the regular season
:dead:
Rasheed was fine during the Finals, I think guys like him are more focused in bigger games, the bigger the game, the bigger their game
He's gonna be our KG hopefully with just as consistent a jumper.
My only issue is mobility, can he still move the way we need him too, Camby and KT as well
Lol the real question is if he is going to be playing 10-15 mins a game like we all assume, what's the over/under on how many techs this man is going to have? In all seriousness I do like this move this is a very quick turn around from last year from the standpoint of our leadership. Between Tyson J Kidd Sheed Camby we have a lot of talkers on this team im excited
SHEEEEEEEEED!
Thats exactly what casual BB fans dont see. His post defense has been underrated because of the fact that he delivers hard fouls and people think he just whacks people who gets by him when in fact he plays excellent post defense and if someone does get by him he allows no layups.
Sheed ,Camby, Kurt Thomas, Kenyon Martin are the last of a dying breed.
why the fk do we need 3 dinosaurs on this team?
Wait wtf I forgot Jason Kidd. FML
Agreed. The so-called dinosaurs we have will clog the paint and make opposing teams players think twice before going in there.
Sheeds post D is very good IMO. He'll get into some semblance of shape and be of use to us.
I agree with other posters who've said that this means KT will not get minutes. He'll be a locker stability type and if one of our front line guys goes down he's insurance. I think he can still play 10-15 minutes per game so having him helps re depth.
