Was Jeremy Lin At 100% While With the Knicks??

There might be evidence, based on how Jeremy Lin was dunking the ball, that he was NOT 100 percent while with the Knicks............

There is video footage of J Lin doing reverse and two-handed dunks prior to being on the Knicks......... (The second video, he was receiving "alley-oop" passes, although didn't quite dunk one.)

While with the Knicks, Lin did dunk, but rarely and only of the vanilla "straight to the basket" variety......... The last dunk (against Toronto), Lin barely got high enough to get the ball over the rim.......

But now, as a member of the Houston Rockets (and since the meniscus repair in his knee), there is footage of J Lin once again doing reverse dunks.........

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oIQktK_kAMk (Watch the last dunk in the video.)

I've never seen J Lin dunk like that in a Knicks uniform. In practice or in a game.

Now I am not concluding that Jeremy Lin was unequivocally not at 100 percent while with the Knicks, but there is some compelling evidence that it might have been the case. Which, in the wake of Lin's success with the Knicks, could be scary in regard to how he might perform at 100 percent.

But unfortunately, we will only find out with Jeremy Lin as a Houston Rocket.

You're right OP. Who knows if he was 100 or not, but if he wasn't and last yr's beasting was a less than prime serving, it's going to really suck for us to see him another uni.

Either way I think Lin's going to make us all want to kill James Dolan this upcoming season.

There's almost no doubt in my mind that he will beast and I will sprout more grey hairs as I stress over what could've been.

I hate that Lin is a Rocket. I ****ing hate it.

The sentiments re the Lin bandwagoners are legit.

Krieger you proved you can be branded as such as CA7 reminds us.

However, I think your original post aside from all of the nonsense about dunking holds water. We prob have not seen the best of J Lin IMO, and this could prove to be the sad reality.

It makes me sick honestly..

This clinic Lin put on the Lakers w/out Melo and Amare should give any Knick fan palpitations re how he was allowed to leave NY. I still don't understand it.

Who cares.

Lin is only good when he plays wrecklessly drives and gives up his body.

He got banged up in one way or another every single game he played in

His body won't be able to handle it and he will never be 100% in this league.

Could well be that he wasn't at 100%. Can't deny that throughout Linsanity he'd never done anything as physically and mentally taxing. Now, as he's basically become the face of the ****ets, he's in for a full season in which everything he does becomes microscopic and the hype in turn will add more pressure to Lin. Add to that the fact the ****ets lost 2 PGs in Lowry and Dragic, both arguably better than Lin, and amnestied one of the league's best, grittiest low post players in Luis Scola.

They had a f*cking horrible offseason, and traded everything in for Jeremy Lin. It wasn't cleverly done at all, and now the entirety of the league's defenses will be gunning for him, with the tall poppy syndrome in full effect.

He's in for a grueling season, and you can't envy the expectation that'll be heaped on him from the first ****ets preseason game.

I think there's every chance he'll be maligned as a one hit wonder after a relatively poor season, but it will be the fault of a foolish franchise, with Lin as their sacrificial lamb.

Either way, the ****ets are gonna stink, and they just let 3 very, very good players walk for nought in return except an overpaid, overplayed Jeremy Lin.

I don't think he'll be brown-nosing god after this season's finished.
