You got to remember, Mike No D Antoni would love Stat back. As would Nash.

I think that's pretty much speculative until proven otherwise.

And the reason the Lakers are looking to trade Gasol is because of his bad contract. STAT's is worse! If I were them I'd just hope that Gasol finds form. That's a better option by far, and Nash will help make it happen.

Perhaps there's less room for him with D12 around, but that applies immediately to Stoudemire, as well.

Hope for a miracle as unlikely as what got Gasol to the Lakers in the first place, but I seriously doubt the Lakers bite on this one without the Knicks losing Shumpert and a throw in. Maybe next year's first rounder on top.
