I don't know what you can't understand about the fact that he cannot be aggressive when the other team has such a large rotation of bigs that they can throw at him.
He wasn't playing badly at all, sure he let some inside buckets go because the chance of him stopping them vs the chance of getting a foul just wasn't worth going for. Doesn't make him lazy or lacking effort, he's playing smart.
Nets only had +2 rebounds and were -3 offensive rebounds. Knicks only allowed 7 offensive rebounds in the game.
This was a road game against a good team, you gameplan to be in the game at the end.
