Oh crap... I forgot about Novak. Okay yeah. It really doesn't work
I wanna keep this team intact throughout the season - NO TRADES..
I know Shump is going to be a great player and he's already good, but do you think he should really be a starter or even getting significant minutes right now? The reason we played him so much last year was due to the lack of depth in the backcourt.
He's only a second year player, coming off a tough injury, I'm not sure he's really a playoff caliber starter when you have Kidd and Brewer and JR.
Damn that fall really sucked the excitement out of this game man
Geez STATs own mom dropped him from her fantasy team years ago...
It's amazing how effective a strategy knocking the other team's best player out of the game can turn out to be, we need to man up and close this out.
It's Shump's return that has me miffed the most, because I have Brewer and Smith on par in terms of being effective. Novak will be the one that is under the noose, IMO, because he is - pardon the rhetoric - one dimensional. There'll be games in which he's perfectly fit to play his outside role, but if the Knicks need to make a trade to get this to work, it's gotta be Steve.
I'd honestly prefer to keep Brewer than Novak, but with Smith's PO on the way this season, we might have to hang on to Novak as insurance for his potential departure.
