Yeah, that was the problem with TNT's projected rotations just now, too, they didn't have Novak in there.

Oh, c'mon, when the Clippers are begging us to do Felton/STAT for Chris Paul, you expect us to say no?

I know Shump is going to be a great player and he's already good, but do you think he should really be a starter or even getting significant minutes right now? The reason we played him so much last year was due to the lack of depth in the backcourt.

He's only a second year player, coming off a tough injury, I'm not sure he's really a playoff caliber starter when you have Kidd and Brewer and JR.

It's amazing how effective a strategy knocking the other team's best player out of the game can turn out to be, we need to man up and close this out.

Kinda disjointed though... Not really bothered with Camby, I don't see him playing for us when we're healthy.
The depth we have to cover injury is great, though. As Cope said against Washington, everyone's just gotta be ready. Camby was a playoff purchase, no doubt.

It's Shump's return that has me miffed the most, because I have Brewer and Smith on par in terms of being effective. Novak will be the one that is under the noose, IMO, because he is - pardon the rhetoric - one dimensional. There'll be games in which he's perfectly fit to play his outside role, but if the Knicks need to make a trade to get this to work, it's gotta be Steve.

I'd honestly prefer to keep Brewer than Novak, but with Smith's PO on the way this season, we might have to hang on to Novak as insurance for his potential departure.

Mother's and fantasies just don't belong in the same concept.
