    ...really sucks right now.

These are problems you CAN'T FIX.

Felton has always been a bad defender.

Melo and Smith don't play defense as tight as they should they sag off a lot.

Novak will always be a liability.

Shumpert and Chandler are not the A level defenders they were last year.

    Camby is good.

    White is useless.

Amare Stoudimire, the D is silent.

Mike Woodson, the D is also silent; has no concept of defense and performance of the Knicks have shown Mike hasn't put this team through enough practice and repetition on defending the pick and roll. Look at how the Pacers and Bulls play, then look at how the Knicks play. Big difference in preparation. We get by just based on pure talent, not actually applying what was practice. Woodson sucks, he's 55-27 in the last 87 games; but don't expect that kind of success in the playoffs. I guess we'll settle for being a fringe team for 3 years until Chandler is old, Felton goes Eddy Curry mode and gain 50 pounds, Kidd, Camby, Martin and Prigioni are in retirement homes, JR Smith gets caught with an O of weed and some mollies, James White starts a dunking camp in Guyana, Amare becomes a handicapped fashion model and Melo arrives at his the end of his prime at 33 years old.

This team is fragile, weak and soft. I noticed these things in the first twenty games, but we're deep into the season and it's almost over. The verdict is out. Knicks just can't play defense or stay healthy.

My money is on the Clippers beating OKC in a postseason series this season having Chuancey Billups player/coach/postseason leadership guide to give the Clippers the edge.

OKC have a well rounded Gellin trio of frontcourt bigmen in "Perkin/Abaka/and Collison" who performance spells "TEAM-DEFENSE" .... OKC have another well-rounded Gellin-trio of guards in "Westbrook/Sefolosha/and 6.9 Durant that have an awesome backcourt "Team-Defense" that give OKC 60 or more points on offense.

How will coach Woodson match-up with a well-rounded coached team like the OKC Thunder in OKC?
Coach Woodson been playing shiiiiity games with Amare for two seasons, forcing Amare to submit to no-defense, no-passin-skillz, no-fastbreak, slow-ballin Iso-Melo & Iso-JR.smith rotation.
By making sure Melo or JR are in every lineup Amare appear in since the postseason games.
Melo & JR walk the ball on every offensive-possession, is that Amare's game? NO!
For Amare to have a Low-Post game Melo & JR have to pass the ball off their dribble which they cant do.
Its hard for Felton to do, Kidd is a specialist at it, but we just recently started playing Kidd in lineups with Amare.

Jeremy Lin & Harden beat the Knicks & OKC this season. How?
Make no mistake Jeremy Lin was the only Knicks player that could pass off his dribble to any moving teammate.
So what Lin average 5 turnovers a game, but Lin made the game exciting by getting 8 or more assist from hitting cutters and a moving catch n shoot Novak off his dribble, plus defensively teaming-up with Shump to get 4 steals a game.

    What happen to Jeremy Lin?
Did the MSG crowd screaming "Linsanity" every other minute get rid of Lin?

Coach Woodson put a 30 minute standing in one spot JR.smith, and then a 40 minute standing in one spot Melo in the lineup with a running transition fastbreak maker Jeremy Lin.
If u could run then u can score 8 to 14 points with PG-Lin the same way Jared Jefferies & Tyson Chandler did.

Melo & JR never moved a inch untill they got the ball, and when they got the ball they held the ball for longer than 6 seconds before they start dribbling the ball.
And in the defensive-department "Melo & JR" defensive effort were 10% of "Jefferies, Shump, and Fields" 100% pure defensive-effort for the win.
It was not a coincidence that Lin & Amare caught a regular season ending injury in the same game after taking new coach Woodson on two winning streaks...

I change a Game Thread with OKC into a Jeremy Lin thread b\c I see the same happening to Amare.

The OKC Thunders are a team that EXPOSE all of their oponents weakness & weak areas, way better than the Heat.
All of Felton, JR, Stat, and Tyson Flaws will be expose in every area of their talent tonight by OkC system of defense makes a better offense.
Keep in mind a player with to many flaws are not a KEEPER for next season, check-out OKC coaching-staff...

james white again started but then moved to "useless" proper place

K-mart singed but limited to "sitting on bench"

Thomas started but played just "one moment"

Woodson looking a that guys and thinking "omg"

i dont see victory vs OKC

only weapon is 3 after 3 after n there is no D 4 that but u cant have 16 3s each night.

I expect to see a lot of 3s attempted tonight, only chance the guys have is to launch 35 3s and make 25 of them. I don't see one matchup that we win other than TC vs Perkins if Melo is out.

Woodson will resort to his usual cross your fingers and pray method....JR will play 42 minutes

for last few games OKC is building good advantage but then comitting TO's and opponent is closing up. I got mate which is OKC fan and still tellin me that Westbrook dont play team way only selfish dont pass , only Ibaka plays D. I am sking him so what look @ their record + they lost finals to the refs not to the heat.

Lot of hate right now for a team that's won 5 of 6. Let's all relax for a night, Thunder is a tough matchup anywhere, anytime. I've been as critical of Woodson as anyone, but maybe there is a method to the madness. If we can hang onto the division and a 2 or 3 seed, then it really does become an issue of getting to the playoffs healthy. We've had 2 years in a row where we've been down able bodies in 1st round playoff losses and now we're older than ever.

    Let's go Knicks!

A lot of our wins shows weaknesses that haven't been solved or improved yet. It's concerning since we're basically the 2nd best team in the East. This is a contending team, not a team that has to bend over to Miami. These problems need to be addressed before we basically go into the playoffs as the same team.

Woodson needs to slap JR and Felton and get this team defense together.

Knicks might just have the most pessimistic fans in professional sports.

Keep it close and win this in the 4TH.

OKC 6-4 in last 10, won't be easy but not impossible

Encouraging sign that we're up early. Our starting lineup is generally the weakest lineup we play all night.

News flash just now! When Melo returns, he will have a minutes restriction of about 35 minutes a game. Coach Woodson will achieve this by having Melo sit out all but the last 2 minutes of the 1st half.
