Hopefully his role for the Knicks will be a trade piece.

Think this is a trading piece move...

Speculations prior to this mess, was the Knicks were in dealings with Kings and Mavericks... Other rumors had Mavericks and Celtics in talks with Knicks...

Wouldn't put it past either of those situations to arise from this move...

Can Knicks use Bargnani, as of right now??? No...

Will Stoudemire play center, then Bargnani be his rotation at the 5??? Good Question, have no answer for that...

Tyson Chandler possibly off to Golden State for David Lee??? Again not sure, just speculations from a couple sources...
What would we get back with Lee, picks or another player??? Is this deal with just Golden State -- don't know...

So before we figure out how or if Bargnani could fit, we should wait to see the end game b/c I don't think this was the only move maybe just the first strike with a few others to take place...

He should start. A stretch 4 is perfect for melo and chandler. Amare is a bad fit because he has limited range, however Bargnani can hit long shots and has a Dirk type of game. Bargnani frees up space for melo and a felton/chandler pick and roll.

amare then comes in and provided low post scoring with Cope as backuo stretch 4

Will Knicks start 4 scoring PFs? Bargs, 'Melo, K-Mart & STAT.

ANyway... Bargs is better than Camby/NOvak duo. So, we improved.

Right. He's better then what we have up. He.can do what Novak can do except he can actually move without the ball and put the ball on the floor. We essentially traded Novak for bargnani and that's a no Brainer. This team is being assembled around melo. He just has to be open and make shots. Just another offensive weapon.

Agreed, Bargnani will start at the 4, matchup defensively with the 2nd best power player, he's the floor spacer for Felton, Melo to drive. This allows Melo to play the perimeter, rather than get eaten up by the true 4's. JR and Amare become the best bench duo in the league. This gives Woodson so many options. Add Allen as the starting 2 guard, that would be a huge move to feed off this trade.

Given the league moratorium, it does create a wave of phone calls if there was interest in Bargnani. I think league rules that a traded player can be moved within 24 hours of the first trade, as the solo player going out.

Hey can this trade exception thing that is coming with Bargnani be combined with what we already have to pay Cope more to stay?

The Warriors offered Lee in a deal for Andrea Bargnani, but the Toronto Raptors elected to send him to the New York Knicks... Could Grunny be pulling a fast one to get Bargnani while unloading Novak and Camby unwanted contracts to Toronto then acquire David Lee by shipping A.B. to Golden State???

So many rumors and speculations that can't keep up with them...

Do the Knicks want to keep Bargnani or use him to acquire David Lee from Warriors???

Who is better Bargnani or Lee??? Which player would complement our offensive prowess???

Slick operations, Grunny playing a good game of chess...

If we had any shot at getting Lee for Bargnani we should do it in a heartbeat. Even with his bad contract Lee still gives you 20/10 any given night. He's pretty much a younger Amare with healthier knees and rebounding ability. I've got a feeling Grunwald is completing a larger operation and Lee or no Lee, something bigger than Bargnani is coming.

Lee can actually rebound and pass the ball, would make a better option over Amare.

    Shumpert/Anthony/Lee is a great core.

HOPEFULLY, a mega trade can occur. Chandler with 13 million in salary will be hard to dump. ALLEY OOPS against poor teams do not work in the playoffs...therefore Chandler is no OFFENSE and only fair defense against the superstars.
