Default JR Smith out for 12-16 weeks.

NY_KnicksPR ‏@NY_KnicksPR 2m J.R. Smith's injuries were chronic and gradually worsened. Recovery time is approximately 12-16 weeks.

Knicks injuries are chronic, so they give him a 4 year deal.

    Best contract ever.

Hopefully this means more playing time for Bell, Shumpert, and Artest, our best perimeter defenders.

This has potential of becoming the dumbest signing that the Knicks have had in a long time.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if this guy ends up not playing one healthy full season in the next 4 years.
