i'd start pablo, shump, melo, bargnani, and chandler. in my opinion, that's the best starting lineup for this team. i don't think you can have stat and bargnani both come off the bench because they're not really providing anything other than scoring. if one was a defensive presence, you could start peace and have stat backup melo while bargnani would backup tyson, but since neither are strong defenders or rebounders you have to surround them with other defensive players. also, pablo starting would help the team get into their offense a little better bc he's not looking to score like ray is. i read a stat somewhere that melo's fg% was a lot better with pablo on the court.
with all of that being said, the closing lineup will be interesting to see. i believe the best defensive unit needs to be on the floor in the final minutes of a game. for the knicks, the best defensive unit would probably be pablo, iman, metta, melo, and tyson. the problem with that lineup is would there be enough scoring. should be interesting to see how woodson handles this team. also shumpert's development will be important to what lineups are on the floor.
