    Nuggets sign Nate Robinson...2yr deal

Meanwhile Grunny is hopping on G 5's trying to hump Bobby Brown overseas into a multi yr deal with us...either that or Donnie Walsh slipped him some of his "sleeping the majority of summer pills"

No news recently on the Bobby Brown front.

Here is a scouting report on Myck Kabongo from the Miami Heat summer league. The consensus is that he is a good defender, elite in getting to the rim, but lacks a consistent jump shot. Odds are that he will need a year or two in the D League or somewhere else to develop, as Brown apparently has. The Knicks should keep an eye on him in coming years.

It will be interesting to see what happens with Brown, Toure Murry, and what other PGs the Knicks may invite to training camp.

I'm not and neither should this organization.....why stop at Delonte let's go see what Gilbert Arenas is up to

    I recall this from Delonte.....

[UPPER MARLBORO, Md. -- [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] guard [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] was arrested Thursday after officers pulled him over for speeding on a motorcycle while carrying two loaded handguns and a loaded shotgun in a guitar case.

Prince George's County police spokeswoman Sgt. Michelle Reedy said Friday the Cleveland Cavaliers player was arrested about 10 p.m. Thursday.

Reedy said West was riding a Can-Am Spyder motorcycle north on the Capital Beltway in Upper Marlboro when he cut off an officer, who pulled him over.

Police said a handgun was found in his pocket, another in his pant leg and a shotgun in a guitar case strapped to his back.

Reedy said West "was very cooperative, there were no issues" during the incident.

The 26-year-old West, who lives in Brandywine, was charged with speeding and weapons counts. It is illegal to carry concealed weapons and to transport loaded guns in Maryland, according to police. Reedy said West was released on his own recognizance early Friday.

Cavaliers general manager [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] said the team was monitoring the situation.

"We have been in communication with Delonte and his family," Ferry said in a statement. "We are gathering more information and will not have further comment until the appropriate time."
Online court records did not list an attorney for West.

Last year, West left the Cavaliers' training camp to seek treatment for depression and a "mood disorder" he said he has battled his entire life. At the time, he said he was taking medication and attending therapy sessions. West said his mood problems date to his childhood.

West has said his mood swings seem to be most erratic when his life seems to be in order.
Cpl. Clinton Copeland, a Prince George's County police spokesman, said West was carrying a Beretta 9mm handgun, a Ruger .357 magnum handgun, and a Remington 870 shotgun. Copeland said the penalties West could face if convicted had not been determined.]

Then he explains the situation 2yrs later....

Little has come out about how West put himself in that dangerous, frightening situation until recently, [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].

West was already groggy from his prescribed nightly dosage of Seroquel when some ne'er do wells partying in his home studio came across his stash of guns and hunting weapons. In his take, West insists he was attempting to keep his mother happy by riding his stash to another one of his houses. From [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]:

"Ma Dukes came running upstairs into my room, cursing me, saying she wanted all these MFers out of my house," recalls West. "I came to like, What's going on? I was already on my Seroquel trip. A few of my cats had found some stuff in the studio and they were living the whole gangsta life thing—guns in the air and this and that," continues West. "And I said, 'Oh my God. What the **** are y'all doin' in here? Y'all got to go. Momma ain't on that. Kids are running around upstairs. It's time to go.'"

Gassed up from the commotion, West decided it would be prudent for him to relocate the guns to an empty house he owned nearby. So, with his other vehicles blocked in by guests' cars, and expecting it to be a short trip, he haphazardly loaded up his Can-Am and placed the weapons in a Velcro-type of bag—"not a desperado, hardcase, gun-shooting-out-the-side type case"—and set off.
"I'm on the Beltway, cruisin'," West says, voice high, emotional and inimitable. "Soon I start realizing I'm dozing in and out. I open my eyes and I went from this lane to that. I'm swervin', and by the time I wake up, I'm about three exits past my exit."

Yikes. It could have been a lot worse, apparently.
The interview is a must-read. It delves into West's continued struggles with bipolar disorder, and discussing the heretofore unrevealed fact that West was under a version of house arrest during the 2010-11 season. It also includes the line "I ain't lookin' for no nipple to cry on." So you can't lose, really.]

Guess signing Brown may not happen. He's got an offer to play in China for 1.2M and the Knicks haven't made him an offer, guess they think Murry is just as good.

If I was saying I wanted this dude to house sit for me while I was out of town your footage would have been very convicting...yet all I want is for him is to be our 3rd string PG

Z-Bo attempted to sodimize a stripper while she was asleep, ignited a riot, jumped an FBI informant and broke the eye socket of a teammate, not to mention stuff he has gotten away with that we know nothing about....yet as long as he can score and rebound it does not matter

People change West wants to redeheem himself an I think he'd be great... Plus New York has a way of humbling tough guys

Zach was not a good fit for us...we had Lee/Gallo/Chandler/Effries etc etc. I could care less what happened for Zach personally beneficial while he was here. Zach was good for Zach. There was an incident he was involved in at a Casino/Hotel I believe when here.

If all you're looking for is a 3rd string point guard then there are better options out there, with less risk...

Tinsley, Telfair, Mike James, just to name a few. Why the incessant desire to always find the reclamation projects in effort for them to turn their career around. We need players who help benefit our franchise..... more than our franchise benefiting the player.

The New York Knicks are not Mother Teresa, Ghandi, Martin Luther King, Father Flanagan

Telfair presents potential off court distractions too! I like AJ Price a lot but is he truly better than West?

I don't want us to bring him here for sentimental reasons its not about simply doing a nice thing for a guy trying to comeback...Delonte West is a nice backup PG which is what we need.

He'll get a non gaurenteed contract if he acts up you cut him and guess what those same PGs you mentioned will be looking for work

You mentioned us taking on "reclamation" projects but 1.how man such projects have burned us in the way you are suggesting West will? And 2. These projects are based on what the player can bring to the team, no one is doing anyone any favors. Shawne Williams is the only such case I can think of and he was solid on the court for us and no problems off
