    Recent meetings
    November 16, 2013 For the second time in less than a week, the Knicks and Hawks faced off, this time at Madison Square Garden. This time the Hawks got the better end of the deal as they revenged an earlier loss to cruise to a 110-90 victory over the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden. Carmelo Anthony led the way with 23 points and 12 rebounds over 34 minutes. Andrea Bargnani posted 16 points and nine rebounds over 28 minutes. Iman added 11 points and seven rebounds. Atlanta was paced by a total team effort as eight Hawk players scored in double-figures. The game was over when the Hawks outscored the Knicks 30-21 in the second quarter and never looked back as they never relinquished the lead en route to a 110-90 victory over the host New York Knicks.
    November 13, 2013 In a tough road game, New York came out firing taking a 55-45 lead after two quarters to only see it disappear in the third quarter. New York remained poised and was able to fight out a tough Eastern Conference matchup and grab a 95-91 victory over the Atlanta Hawks at Philips Arena. Carmelo Anthony led the way with 25 points and four rebounds over 40 minutes. Andrea Bargnani put together his best performance in a New York Knick uniform so far in the young season with 20 points, a team high 11 rebounds and two assists over 31 minutes. Tim Hardaway Jr. provided a positive spark off the bench with 14 points on 5-8 shooting over 15 minutes. Atlanta was powered by Jeff Teague’s 25 points and eight assists over 40 minutes. Al Horford added 23 and five rebounds over 35 minutes.

    R the Hawks really the 3rd best team in the EAST ?????/
