||In a hard fought, playoff-like battle, New York was outscored 31-18 in a third quarter that saw the Knicks commit three technical fouls, one flagrant foul, 12 personal fouls and 15 made free throws later the Grizzlies cruised to victory as they handed the Knicks their first loss of the season, 105-95 at the FedEx Forum in Memphis, TN. New York was paced by Carmelo Anthony’s team high 20 points over 30 minutes. Raymond Felton added 18 points and a team high five assists over 36 minutes. Memphis was led by its two big men Zach Randolph and Marc Gasol who combined for 44 points and 22 rebounds- Randolph 20 points, 15 rebounds; Gasol 20 points, seven rebounds. Rudy Gay posted 17 points and Mike Conley added 16 points and eight assists.
