Thanks again for the game thread, Rady. Today's game will forever be dubbed the 'curfew game' in my mind. If we win, this might be something we see again in the future, if we lose, this might be the most interesting anecdote about the days before Coach Woodson got fired. The word is that Brooklyn has once again lost Brook Lopez for the year, who by the way, is also signed for 16 to 17 million both next year and the year after. If nothing else, today is a good day to be thankful we're not them, even if we stink about as bad.

All that said, let's go Knicks!

Also, getting a second look at the possible matchups, this game would be a great one for Bargs to get hot on the perimeter and try to draw Randolph away from the hoop to limit his rebounding. Not sure if it is that simple, but it's worth a try.

All Star
It would surprise me if we get a win here, i don't even think it will be close. Grizzlies by more than 12. :boohoo:

Caught a break on the no call with Stat mauling Zbo and it leads to another supremely athletic alley oop dunk for THJ. If the kid isn't starting for us by after the all-star break, it either means Shump will have found his shot or we're content playing losing basketball.

Small lineup with Melo and Stat as our only big men, immediately leads to layup after layup for Memphis in the paint.

Pretty blah quarter for us, but definitely an improvement over past matinee efforts. Can't fault our early strategy by forcing Tony Allen to make offense for them, but going small ball late in the quarter gave them an easy 6 points in a matter of a minute. We can win this game, but our support guys need to knock down open shots. I'm looking at you Shump.

I wonder if we can even get anything worthwhile back for Shump in a trade. He's like a car with a bad engine, no resale value now.

Murry has earned himself some early minutes apparently. If he can effectively run the point as our back-up PG, it will dramatically reduce our odds of making a terrible PG trade this season.

JR 3 for 3. Did the curfew do the trick? Also, that behind the back pass by Murry for the THJ fast break slam is now our highlight of the season.

Those 2 kids are getting awarded for saving people from a fire, meanwhile our multimillionaire players need a curfew to be able to be ready to do their job, what a world we live in.
