boston is in rebuilding mode + Rondo in next month

bulls goin into rebuilding mode too but they got plenty inuries

76ers started season with 3-0 after 4 - 17 and lucky win in OT @ buzzer vs Nets

raptors pistons wizards traded some players and upgraded some players and we see results

IF things will continue we will witness very unusuall playoffs thos season

Knicks still can be in playoffs if 3/4 0.500 teams will be playing like they playing righ now but this is just math only.

The only thing saving Woody is the east is terrible. 12/15 teams are playing < .500 ball so when he says if the Knicks can string together some wins they'll be right in the hunt, he's right.

Which those fools gold 2gm winning streaks only stifle and/or prohibit what needs to take place which is a complete shake up. You don't judge a team based on how bad other teams are playing. You base things on how bad you are playing because the only thing that should matter is the Knicks.

The East is terrible and we are not going to make the playoffs, I'm convinced of that now. Woodson has to go ASAP.

The problem, of course, is rebounding...

You just don't win when you get outrebounded by 27.

...and no built-in ball movement, no manufactured movement or flow because of the set being run, too much relying on "what the defense gives you" when you're not forcing the defense to give you ANYTHING, bad rotations on defense, non-existent communication on defense, not finishing the defensive possession with a rebound, not getting stops so they can get out in transition, horrible execution of the simplest things, changing the lineup to match other teams (this is pure desperation...you don't see good teams changing their lineup to match up with someone else. You start who you start, and play accordingly.)

The funny thing is...the offensive problems have been there since Woody took over.

The 3s were just going in. Unsustainable offense, is unsustainable offense. Whether the shots are falling or not.

The key is, what do you do when they stop falling? We're finding out now... Nothing.

our problem is everything

IQ they not playing team work

90% balls is goin to MELO and he is allways searching for contact not wide open shots

check his passing stats right now

he is not driving into paint and then complaining for non calls

who will score besides MELO ? JR? 4/17 3s? Shumpet 1/9? Bargniani numbers went competely down

and when i see their D all players leaving 3 meters space which can be easly used to driving SPURS used that way and they won by 31.

I think to some degree Melo is overrated he has superstar status but he doesn't play like one night in night out, he takes too many nights off. He did play great tonight but the rest of the team didn't get it done tonight.

Melo has averaged over 30 ppg the last 5 games he has played...what are you talking about?

He's playing 40 minutes a game with a shoulder that's not even 100%, how the hell can you take any nights off? Enough of the BS.

ACTUAL FACTUAL…...

Melo is overpaid and overrated(by gullible Knick fans and fan boys).

Remember how most fans were irate that ESPN ranked him 17th(which is still too high). For crying out loud there are many fans who think we should pay him 5yrs $130mil<----------not even a Slug would do this

44% and 35% is very HO-HUM especially when you chuck 20+/gm playing 40+min/gm and can't even drop above 3dimes consistently. He's supposed to be DAT STAR…DAT GO TO GUY that not many teams have to put them over the top. He's on a team that has lost practically 20gms out 25 played. We were told he "CARRIED US DRAGGED US" to the playoffs last year…then when some ask why are we 8-18 this yr those same fans will say we're missing Kidd and Sheed……ROTFLOLMNOP!!!!!

Let us know why you personally hate him since no facts were discussed in this post.

T'Mac in his prime was always considered one of the greatest players in our generation. His team never advanced passed the first round until he joined the Rockets with Yao Ming and a great team.

Chris Paul has the same success in the playoffs as Melo, Paul never had an amazing team around him in New Orleans until Tyson Chandler came through to play next to David West, still Hornets fell short to the Spurs, a great team.

These topics are team-based, not player based.

Melo, CP3, T-Mac...superstars, A level talent.

Put them on a mediocre team, they'll easily lead them to the playoffs.
Put them on a crap team, lottery balls.
Put them on a great team, you will see these type of players enjoy success we never seen before.

lol "Melo is the go to guy". That's such a stupid thing to say. It has no meaning and doesn't relate to our problems as a team. We need to upgrade the roster if we want to win, it doesn't lie in what Carmelo is doing. Carmelo has all the tools in the world to be a major part of a Championship team. However we need to pair him up a player that's close to his level of play.

This applies to so many players in this league…..Who doesn't this apply to? ^^^^^^^ You're a comedy of errors

Melo has been touted as "Our Go To Star"….but he hasn't been Go To Anything since arriving here. Of course the Knicks will win as a team hence when you look back at the trade it wasn't something we needed to do because we always had enough to win as a team. Not in case you as a fan felt we couldn't have made any progress going forward at the time and the only way to do so was to trade for Melo.

You do realize we're in the neck of the woods to lose as many games if not more than we did in 2005-2006 and 2007-2008 win total of 23gms….since the Isiah era and this is after acquiring Fat Melotty.

Then maybe he should have had surgery in the off season.

the problem with cobra clutching Melo's nuts in such a fashion is the fact they never look at the context of how he arrives at those numbers and at what expense to the team, while still making excuses for failure

During 5gm stretch

He's increased his season FGA/gm average to 3+ to 24FGA/gm<-----------that's scurvy

He's had a couple games where he shot 9-24fg and 9-29fg<------------that's barfatolis

He's had at least 3gms, sub 33% after 15fga into back half of games<-------that blows chunks

He had major gaffs against Boston and Wizards in the clutch<------------that's returrrrded

What's the point? 3G4G will call Melo soft and says he's not durable.

Melo was the scoring champ last season and this dude says Melo hasn't done anything in New York. You can't even waste time with someone trolling the forums that hard. Which is sad because when he's not acting like Melo gave his mother an oily massage, he's one of the best posters on the forum no questions.

But the kinda of criticism Melo is getting you would think he's producing like Lee Nailon or Qyntel Woods.

Melo hasnt done anything in New York!!!
u keep for gettin that Amare got upset with Dantoni in 2010 December for only playing 7 players in his rotation every game.
Forcing Amare to play 40 mpg, while Dantoni had 8 players in his private dog-house
