This thread won't go over well on this site. This is a very pro-Melo site where any negativity towards Melo is met with extreme criticism.
But anywho...some interesting statistics. Since the Melo trade, Denver's defense has improved dramatically, they are allowing 11 less points per game than before the trade. That is a telling stat. Also, FG% is up and assists are WAY UP. There offense has not changed as they are still one of the top scoring teams in the league.
Since the Melo trade, the Knicks' FG% is down and assists are WAY DOWN. Offense is down too. Defense is basically the same.
Some telling stats. Maybe it's Melo. Maybe it's the awful combo of Melo and Billups. Or maybe George Karl suddenly figured out how to coach defense and D'Antoni suddenly forgot how to coach offense simultaneously.
