March 10, 1990 Knicks retire Dick Barnett’s number 12 and number 613 in honor of coach Red Holzman.
Barnett averaged 15.6 points in nine seasons with the Knicks. Holzman’s number 613 represents the number of regular-season victories he earned at the helm of the Knicks - the most in franchise history.
