Recent meetings

January 26, 2014New York outlasted Los Angeles on a Sunday afternoon as the Knicks outscored the Lakers 15-11 over the final seven minutes to record their second straight victory at Madison Square Garden. New York was paced by Carmelo Anthony?s 35 points, five assists and four rebounds over 40 minutes. Raymond Felton recorded 20 points on 8-10 shooting and five assists over 36 minutes. This was Felton?s first 20-point performance of the season. Tyson Chandler recorded a double-double with 13 points and 14 rebounds over 30 minutes. Tim Hardaway Jr. added 18 points and J.R. Smith added 16 points off the bench. Los Angeles was led by Jodie Meeks 24 points (8-13 FG) and three rebounds over 43 minutes. February 3, 2013New York fell behind early 13-3 but took complete control of the game as they went on to score 117-68 the remainder of the game as they cruised to a 120-81 victory over the Sacramento Kings at the Garden. New York drilled 19-triples which is tied for the second most in franchise history. The 39-point victory is the largest margin of victory since Mar. 14, 2012 win vs. POR when they won by 42-points. The 30-15 record is the best record after 45-gmaes since 1996-97. The Knicks grabbed a season high 52 rebounds and dished out a season best 34 assists. The 120 points are the second most points scored this season. New York was paced by J.R. Smith?s 25 points, six rebounds and four assists over 22 minutes. Amar?e Stoudemire finished with 21 points on 10-10 shooting and six rebounds over 21 minutes. The 10 FGM without a miss fell one short of the Knicks all-time franchise record (twice- B. King and J. Newman- 11-11 FG). Tyson Chandler posted 11 points and 20 rebounds for his 18th double-double of the season. He has now grabbed 20-rebounds in consecutive games. Carmelo Anthony?s streak of 31-straight 20-points games was snapped as he posted nine points, five rebounds and three assists over 27 minutes. Sacramento was led by DeMarcus Cousin?s 25 points and nine rebounds over 33 minutes. Jimmer Fredette added 14 points. After falling behind 13-3 in the first quarter, the New York Knicks answered with a 38-4 run in the first half to take a 46-33 lead at the half. The Knicks continued their success in the third quarter as they outscored the Kings 41-19 and never looked back. Melo played a pretty good game too....but that's why he gets paid the big bucks

When Melo got his 4th foul Clyde said " come on Melo your not playing hard and your not playing smart "

Wonder with Phil Jackson there now does clyde feel a little more open to call it as he sees it.......

2 games out...

JR 9-12 from three damn Rhianna must have finally called him back lol...but giving up a 24 point lead... does anyone know if Kmart is ever coming back to beef up our defense???

A win over the LOTTERY 25-46 record Kings without their star PG does not lift my optimism as a Knicks Fan of making the postseason games.

30 wins, and 10 games remaining in the season (???).
Out of the 10 remaining games 9 of the teams are .500 record teams.
Where's the confidence???

Not to mention pretty much all of them need to win to improve their playoff positions. Phx's got next and remember last time the mighty Barbosa almost took us out...I think they are full strength with Bleddy and Drago we're going to get slayed by these 2 young studs.

How many times this season did u see HC Woodson put a defensive lineup of "Tyson, K-Mart, MWP, Shump, Prigioni" on the court?
NEVER!
So-call defensive-coach Woodson had a dominating defensive-player at all 5 position this season, and fail to use these players properly this season. All the Knicks losses this season were from playing poor team-defense.

The Knicks starting lineup of Tyson, Amare, Melo, JR, Felton, and 6th man THJ are the NBA worst defensive-lineup.
When a team consistently lose to all the worst teams in the league it means their DEFENSE SUCKS!!!!

Yeah .. Dragic/Bledsoe/Green trio/tandem guard lineup prove to be in the top-5 elite guard lineup this season.
Felton & JR dont have a chance...
