November 7, 2013 New York blitzed Utah in the first quarter as they outscored the Jazz 39-22 in the first twelve minutes and never looked back at they cruised to an easy rout of the Utah Jazz 108-81 at the Garden on a Friday night. The 39 first quarter points were the most points the Knicks have score in any quarter this season. Carmelo Anthony led the Knicks with 29 points and a season high eight assists over 32 minutes. Tyson Chandler posted 16 points and 11 rebounds over 23 minutes for his 13th double-double of the season. Chandler has posted 10 straight double-figure rebounding
performances. J.R Smith added 17 points. Alec Burks and Gordon Hayward paced the Jazz with 18 points each.

New York was led by J.R. Smith’s 20 points and five rebounds over 31 minutes. Raymond Felton posted 19 points and four assists over 42 minutes. Chris Copeland added 14 points over 31 minutes. Utah was paced by Gordon Hayward’s 17 points and three assists over 37 minutes. Al Jefferson recorded 10 points and 11 rebounds over 31 minutes. New York held onto its one-game lead over the Brooklyn Nets for the Atlantic Division.
