Chris Bosh staying with Heat Max 5 yr Deal $118 Million

Thought he would be going to Houston but it makes sense as soon as Lebron leaving opened up some salary for Bosh to get a max deal. He said he didn't want to go anywhere except Miami and now he gets paid as well.

If Melo follows suit he signs with NY tomorrow.

That is a lot of money for a guy who is 30 years old, averaged 16 points with 6 rebounds last year, and is not an elite defensive player, but good for him. Miami stays relevant only as long as Wade's body holds together or they somehow attract yet another star. If neither of those two things happen, they go back to the mediocre pack in the East and are stuck paying out Bosh's big bucks with no real huge upside.

Houston fans are having a cow. Morey outsmarting himself by not picking up Parsons option, trading Lin and Asik all to make cap space for Melo or Bosh now Morey has to regroup by Sunday when he has to decide to match that ridiculous offer to Parsons.

Maybe Phil Jackson is salivating a possible salary dump of Stat to Houston <--- :smokin:

I think they move on from Parsons, they can't be that retarded not to pick up his option then try to match to save face...

It's a big decision, Houston fans love him along with the front office. He's a good player and great locker room guy, he was key in getting Dwight to sign.

They had every intention of matching after they signed Bosh but that was because they could sign him and go over the cap after signing Bosh. He's the proverbial bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush. You can keep him for sure or go after other players that you may not be able to sign, not sure what they do.

who knows what will happen, maybe they pull off a trade just before they match that ridiculous offer sheet... They really do have a good core to work with, so they might be listening to offers right now and like you said they can go up and beyond to re-sign him, so we will see if they acquire a piece or two then match that offer and retain him...
