Zydrunas Ilgauskas has really bad knees, and his defense has suffered over the last couple of years. When it comes to a center, the Knicks should definately go for a younger player.

More centers is always a good thing, specially for a roster which doesn't have no good centers !!!

Big Zy is good... The bad thing on hiring him is Channyng Frye on the bench instead of playing more at the first line and improving his game !

I previously was in favor of getting Z, imagining him and Stephon picking and rolling. But Isiah's recent moves have changed my mind. We're getting faster and younger with guys like Q, Nate, Lee, Ariza, etc. (Channing will not be our starting center, is better suited as a PF and higher/unfair expectations may lead to his failure in NY if not given time). Therefore, good riddance to Z. The fact Lebron preferred Curry says a lot anyways. I'd rather go with Steven Hunter and Jerome James if a decent S&T isn't done for Kwame or Dally.
