marbury is a good player......but he will not lead us n e where........with his ball hogging and his bad knees he will only bring us down
he had options
kurt thomas is a great mid range shooter
tim thomas is a very good shooter #12 in #pt% last year i believe over 40%
he is not a team player.....marbury should be traded because he is not good for the ny knicks
ill give u Kurt Thomas...but didnt Kurt Thomas get his points and shots in every game?!
but Tim Thomas? he was fed the ball and sometimes he would just pass it up or be WAY off. hes inconsistent.
and Nazr which i dont believe anyone has mentioned was the garbage man in the middle. if Marbury didnt feed him the ball he would have nothing. he couldnt generate his own plays.
tim thomas was a great player during the second half........
there was really no inconsistancy there during the second half
he was a horrible player the beginning of the season and i wanted him to be dealt then.....but now if he can do wut he did second half he is a very realiable player.
quick suggestion do u think we can have this line up with our current lineup as of now

I would still go with Sweetney at the 4 because he'll be better this year. He might be ready to start and stay out of foul trouble. Sweet has shown an ability to score and rebound. With Timmy T playing the 4 our starting 5 wouldn't get enough rebounds. I'm not a Tim thomas hater like alot of others. I didn't forget what he did the second half of the year but the knicks have a lot of lineup possibilities and they gotta go with what works the best. We'll have to wait and find out.
yea but isaih is trying to go with a run and gun offense and sweetney is just to big and slow
hes not much of a defender eather.......unless he improved alot last year then he is only a low post player he has no shooting range at all.....
even tho u may not like it i see Frye starting at pf this year....he is athletic can shoot and block....although they dont want to rush him into a starting job.....but unless we change our current lineup he will be the starter
