FIRST WIN OF THE 05-06 SEASON, YEAH BABY
except for turnovers, we shot great (almost everyone except barnes and davis) shot over .500. slight advantage on the boards and theyre not that bad of a rebounding team with miller, thomas and shareef. turnovers were equal but steph had 6, crawford had 3 and curry had 4. curry had a good game - 16 and 8 in 21 minutes, fouls sucked but o well. we had 9 steals to their 5. we shot .539 from the field and .857 (6 of 7) from threes, which is pretty incredible. looks like were taking the shots we need to. however, turnovers and defense continue to be a problem, especially the stretch in the third when they cut the lead bigtime. but hey a wins a win, and im lookin forward to being able to catch the lakers game on espn wed night.
well we actually won the turn over battle tonight by 3 or something, so that is part of the reason why we won, still nothing wrong with improving on that though
how about frye w/ a team leading 19 pts? Awesome game. Ariza did well too but fouled out. how good did it feel to see smiles and laughter all across our bench during da klosing seconds? Seeing everyone including marbury congradulate Brown on his first "Dream" win was kinda touching konsidering it took us a tough 5 games. hope the improvements continue. im proud 2 b a knicks fan again.

Frye's J is silky smooth - Man, give that kid a few years and he'll be a Rasheed Wallace type player!
Marbury was at his best making sure we got great shots, diving on the floor for loose balls, jumping and tipping offensive rebounds to his big men.
Ariza was phemonenal!!! - he was everywhere doing everything!!!
It was definitely a great win by the knicks and it's a sign of better things to come....
Great picture that sums everything up. I know all Larry teams start out slow in the season and then progress heavily through the rest of the year. I'm not saying that will definetely be the case here but this win was atleast a step in the right direction. Marbury's play and especially his comments over the past week and after the game show he is ready to be the leader of this team now.
Oh hometheatreguy...Frye still remind you of Charles Smith?
channing frye is a beast we should thank him for this win and is it just me or are the knicks playing defense
Crawford also made some good shots for us in the fourth...a really really nice game even if the referees were definitly not on our side...
