RESPECT
with KnicksFan20
Since no one on the Knicks seems to have any fight, I decided to take this into my own hands. It's time for someone to sound off..I guess it's going to be me! Sound off with NO RESPECT!

Zebra Hunting
In a exiting victory(92-84) between the New York Knicks and Cleveland Cavaliers, the Cavaliers looked as if they were going to take this game and run with it from the very start. But the horrible officiating didn’t help our cause at all. A game that was supposed to be a battle between the recently hot New York Knicks, and against one of the best teams in all of basketball, the Cleveland Cavaliers. In a game that started off being a 5 against 5 quickly turned into a 5 on 8 with the officials being on the Cavs side. Whether its Stephon being hacked every time he takes it to the basket or Jamal Crawford getting tackled on his 3 attempts, the calls were just NOT THERE. This game was both very exiting to watch and VERY VERY irritating to watch. If it wasn’t for our defense getting there sh!t together during the 4rth quarter, and the Cavs missing their shots, they could of easily of walked away with a blow out victory over us.

Jamal Crawford - "It's us and our fans against the world"

I am definitely not the only person who feels this way. Jamal Crawford who was getting abused physically throughout the whole game, seemed to take a little stab at the officials and the media after the game.

I can honestly say that this was one of the worst called games I have EVER seen in my entire lifetime. A game with so many bad calls should NOT be allowed OR ignored! Whether they “missed” some calls because they were reffing for the home town team or because they are plain out ****ing retarted, this should not happen to us or any team in the NBA, and I’m hoping someone brings this issue to David Stern’s attention, and hopefully he will do something about this BS. Whether he ends up dishing out some suspensions, fines, or has to fire some of these bastards and bring in some refs that will call a fair game then DO IT. David Stern needs to step up and do somthing about this, It’s time for some “Zebra Hunting”

Steph Screwed?
This past week was the start of a very good week for us New York Knick fans. Not only were we on a 3 game winning streak (5 now) but we actually saw some leadership ability by our star PG Stephon Marbury. Not only did he play well, but IMO he played better then anyone in our conference. Putting up stats that included

Stephon Marbury- 24ppg 12 apg 3 rb per game and 2 steals. He was beatin out by Division rival Mike James, who tallied a stat sheet of 25.3ppg 4.5 rpg 7apg

Although a close decision on who should of gotten the award, Stephon Marbury clearly deserved it and got SCREWED. I mean, Stephons stats were clearly better then Mike James stats. Marbury should of received some recognition, finally leading this team and getting us some wins, and he gets beat out by MIKE JAMES? I can understand Lebron James but MIKE JAMES should NOT of won that award. In three words Marbury got SCREWED.

But hey, something as small and stupid as this shouldn’t matter, because we are winning, but I just think it is bullsh!t that the media wont recognize us and vote for the person who CLEARLY played the best that week. Well overall great week for Steph and a great week for our New York Knicks, Keep up the great work Steph, you keep playing like this you’ll turn me into a fan in no time.

I'm playing now,

Yo KnicksFan20, I can't stop watching that clip of Nate dunking, it definitely rules... we should never let go of our three rookies; they hustle and don't back down from anybody. Along with Curry, they are the foundation of our team for many years to come.

If we can extend the streak to 10 games, then we may be getting more respect (although for the season we have gotten more foul calls than our opponents).

Props for my boy Carlos Arroyo for standing up to that penis in prison stripes with a whistle.

@ knicksfan20: i could not watch the game against the cavs but i saw sundays win over the sonics.... and in this game, i thought, there were also some strange calls... can you remember the offensive foul calls against nate and eddy curry?? clyde, commentator for the game, said a couple of teams, he did not see much of push-off ... in the second half one ref called eddy curry out of bounds... if you saw the replay you know what i mean... there were some other ludicrous calls in that game

by the way... i also can't stop to watch that nate robinson dunk... where did you get that from?

Yea i seen every game this year exept for maybe 2. And i remember the 2 in which you are talkin about, but every team will get a bad call called against them once in a while.

But if you seen the game against the Cavs you would understand why i wrote an article about it, I mean our guys were practically gettin thrown to the ground every time they drove. There was a play were channing caught the ball and eric snow was gonna try to draw a charge but instead moved out of the way. N STILL GOT A CALL. That game was bs, and you could pretty much tell the refs were playing for the Cavs that game.

o well, we are now on a FIVE game winning streak, and soon to be 7 after we woop up on the Hawks and Raptors

How about a lil less compliments of my Avatar and a lil more on my article and opinion, damn. Lol jp, and i stole the avatar from someone else on a different site

About the calls, this sort of thing has been going on in the NBA for a long long time. Its something that players and coaches know deep insdie, but are forbidden to really speak about it. Refs will always have a bias to teams and players. We all love LJ's 4 point play, but that would not have been called if he wasn't on the Knicks. Currently Kobe and LeBron are awarded about 8+ points on BS calls everynight, and the rest of the league already knows this and deals with it.
The only time I ever recall a player coming out on this practice was Barkely, and Jeff Van Gundy. If you guys remember the story, Van Gundy said there is a league wide conspiracy in game calling and that he can't compete with it anymore. In a matter of hours David Stern was ready to reprimand the coach in an extreme manner. Van Gundy kept quiet the next day or two and took everything back for the sake of his job and the league's "integrity" This goes on folks, and the Knicks don't have anyone marketable enough to win over favoritism with the association. *But good coaches and good teams find ways to beat the system.

i also hate these horrible calls that often follow bad calls ... you know when an nba ref makes a real bad call on one end and he knows about it you often see him try to make up for it on the other end ... then they only focus on a certain player, for example a post-up situation ... the contact can be really harmless but the ref whistles anyway ... i often noticed those situations
