To answer the question, no I would not trade Lee/Ariza or Nate for Artest.
Ron Artest = Terrel Owens...more trouble than they are worth.

Look at San Antonio and Detroit as an example of how to build and have a NBA championship callibur team for a long time.
It doesn't look like we have that kind of patience.

Who is home grown on the Pistons? Except for Tayshaun Prince, who have they drafted and waited to develope that is currently on this team and/or the champion team? Please don't say Darko Milicic!! What impact did he have?!? They traded Grant Hill for Ben Wallace, they traded for Rasheed Wallace... As for SanAntonio, yes they drafted Duncan and Parker but Duncan was like LaBron coming out of collage, an instant super star! Parker was almost traded a few years back.... I said the Knicks should keep Frye because I feel he will be a tremendous offensive force for them. Not sure if he is better suited to start or come off the bench yet.. Lee and Ariza will NOT be big impact players in this league. At best they will be role players and specialists. I can see Ariza being used for defensive purposes, as time goes on, because he looks like he will be a very good defender one day. As far as the Artest trade... Yes he has an attitude and at first I was not a supporter of him but I think he respects Brown and we all know his skill set. We also know what he can do when he wants to and I think Brown can light that fire under his butt... hence being a tramendous player.
