Yeah I think your right. Wilkins is a great coach with at the time the most wins in NBA history. If the true mark of a great coach is making players better than Wilkins did alot for Marbury and if he stayed maybe the perception of Marbury/Starbury being selfish would be changed. If I recall correctly Wilkins resigned due to his mother being sick. He's a pretty old dude him self so I take it that she was near death at the time so there's really no way we could have kept him. But that's all in the past man. After Brown is finished we've got to give Herb a shot. This guy is a soldier. He's sat quietly in the shadows waiting for his turn. The knicks have to build a supporting cast of players for Herb to get a real change to shine.
