He did play 4 games for the Bulls in 99-00 season averageing 7.5 PPG, 2.5 RPG and 2.8 APG in 20 mins of playing time per game. I actually collect John Starks basketball cards as well and I have a few cards with him in the Bulls jersey. I don't think however that they ever sold John Starks Bulls jersey as he was not the most popular player in Chicago (I wonder why...hmm), although I would love to own one.

thanks Levell for the info, good stuff

if push comes to shove I know some people who buy authentics on Ebay of a team, take off the name and numbers and send it to EPS to get customized into their favorite player. it probably won't work for replicas because the numbers/letters are heat pressed and not sewn, but it's a suggestion you might want to consider

didnt Starks wear mostly 46 + 4 L.B. throughout his career?

I'm thinking about sending it off to get Penny Hardaway done, since he was one of my favorite players growing up and you dont see much of his Knicks jerseys around. sizing probably isn't right but I guess it makes sense since it's from 2003-2004 his first year on the Knicks. thanks for the help again everyone. I'll repost the photos of the jersey when I get it back.

That is an interesting idea, I've never heard of that before. And EPS is an abbreviation for....?

I honestly have no idea what size of jersey he wore. But now I know, thanks for that.

thanks Levell, it's a site where you can send in your jerseys to be customized

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

they don't list quotes for NBA jerseys but contact them and I think they can still be able to help. most people who do this I talk to send the jerseys there.

I'm not completely sure Starks wore 46+ 4 L.B. but saw some auctions on Ebay that had his procuts at that size, but also he might have been 42 earlier on

also another member posted some ebay auctions

Hey quiggle, thanks for that. Mateofmilk, the ebay seller you mentioned, put the jerseys up on ebay after I contacted him. Now the only problem is that they are $299, which is a bit expensive but I'm seriously thinking about buying one, the white one, home jersey.
    Thanks for your help.

thanks Levell, I'd definitely get the white one because it has the rare September 11th, 2001 tribute flag patch on the right shoulder. the price is decent, especially for a game used jersey and the quality is as top as it can get. would make for an impressive piece in your collection! good luck

    Hey quiggle,
FYI. I just saw this on ebay.

It ended on Jan 13th, but reserve was not met so maybe it is still available if you are interested.

do any of you know what size jersey Oakley wore? I have this dealer who is offering me what he said is a Starter game road jersey used by Oak so I'm guessing it's from his last season with the Knicks. there's another on Ebay that shows 50+4 but from another season and made by Champion and was wondering if he wore this same size in 1997-1998? thanks

Hey quiggle, I decided not to go for the John Starks Game Worn Utah jazz jersey. Instead I bought a John Starks Authentic Autographed Knicks Jersey directly from the John Starks foundation ([Only registered and activated users can see links. ]). For a $175 donation you get an Autographed John Starks jersey and you are supporting a good cause. I'll post some photos soon.
