Old ball is comming back

NBA commissioner David Stern, in a stunning reversal, has decided to shelve the new microfiber composite basketball after just a few months of use and switch back to the old leather model for all games starting Jan. 1, according to sources close to the situation.

I personally don't think the new NBA ball is all that bad, to be honest. I can see why some players complain, but it looks like it's been helping the NBA more than it hasn't. Remember when Carter's three hit the back rim and went in the net a while back, to send the game into overtime? It would've bounced away somewhere else if it were the leather ball.
