you also have to think about the coaching upheavals and bad drafting that john nash did before getting canned...
If you think about it, we really do have a nice team on paper. But when you watch the Knicks play, you would think that we are holdin out on something. As a team, the Knicks need to do alot of things. But indivuals, they are really good.
Well that somes us up in a nutshell, lots and lots of potential, but just can't turn the corner to meeting that potential. We have a lot of talent, but even if we land Artest we are still not a lock for the playoffs. Can Isiah make this team want to win every game? Like the article states we had some great wins ( Mia twice, Sweeping LA, Cavs, etc.) but then losses to teams like Charlotte, Philly, Minn, etc. Ofcourse during the course of a 82 game season every team takes a couple of losses they shouldn't have ( 97 Bulls loss to the Nuggets that season) but the problem is the Knicks last season could win or lose to any given team in the league. So are we now a consitent winner.... I know we all hope so, but this team is young so we can't be that far...can we ?
The Knicks Team-Stat-Sheet last season is something to hide when you recall how high the $Team Salary$ was last season.
The Knick Teams Players are going to have to want to play with their teammates to improve the Team-Stat-Sheet on offense\defense, because the Knicks Turnover percentage was to high, and the assist % was too low last season when the Knicks invested close to 50 million that season in just 3 Guards (Marbury, Francis, and Crawford) to control the Teams Turnover/Assist ratio.
